Shopping for Produce
Aside from Friday’s Open-Air market, we suggest you go to Uçarlar Manavı or Kaş Manav where all prices are displayed and you get a receipt for your purchase. Selection is unbeatable for fruit and veg (you will notice the local restaurants shop here too!). Also you can get local products from Likya Çiftliği.
Parking in Town
Recently it has become almost impossible to find a free spot around the streets in Kaş Your best chance is to go directly to one of the available parking locations. There is one next to the harbor on the pier side, one across from the Muhtar Supermarket, and one where the farmers’ market sets up, it is free but no parking there on Fridays.
Kas Yacht Marina
It’s new and has cutting edge facilities and shops that may be worth checking out. Just tell the entrance security that you are there to dine or shopping and they wave you right in. There are two fine dine restaurants and a bar, Turkish bath & massage-sauna, available for all seasons.
Horseback Riding
There is one horseback riding club in Çukurbağ village 10 minutes away from Kaş. It is a great activity for families with kids while kids having their first experience with horse, families will enjoy the beauty of the nature while they drink selection of herbal tea and small snacks. Also you can ride around if you have an experience.
Hiring a Boat from the Harbour
We have had great experiences with many of the tourboat operators out of Kas Harbour (not to be confused with Kas new Yacht Marina). In general, you should expect to be fed a good lunch in addition to Tea and snacks during your 6-8 hour tour. Boats charge between 1000 and 1500 Turkish Lira for the day, depending on number of passengers, size and quality of boat, distance travelled, etc.

Diving, Paragliding and Jeep Safari
Kaş is diving heaven for Scuba divers.. There are different stages and programs for beginners to experts. Ancient ruins like 2000 year old Amphoras can be seen everywhere, and several wrecks available to all levels of certified divers. Paragliding is a great option to see the magnificent scenery of Kaş from high above. We recommend you to try this fantastic opportunity of a lifetime.
Jeep Safari is also popular activity that takes you to the Saklıkent Canyon. You can find information on Saklıkent in the Attractions section.
